Job description, responsibilities and duties

PTP Team Lead ensures the Procure to Pay function of a Multi-National client organization is effectively managed to meet the service and performance levels agreed between Accenture and the Client. Other responsibilities are Coordinating activities across client business streams while monitoring compliance to policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure performance measures are met or exceeded
  • Lead the Procure to Pay function reviewing metrics and reports in order to drive performance and efficiencies
  • Supervise, motivate, develop and mentor staff
  • Ensure the agreed procedures are kept up to date and adhered to within the team
  • Responsible for the preparation of management reports in line with Client and Accenture’s requirements
  • Be proactive and innovative with ideas to improve service / deliverables to the client based on current performance and risk understanding
  • Set and agree clear, measurable targets for the department and individuals, monitor performance and carry out regular performance meetings with staff and with leadership, ensuring this is documented.

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Procure to Pay experience – over 5 years
  • Managerial experience – over 3 years
  • Excellent team management skills with proven experience
  • Understanding of Basic Accounting principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Perfect communication skills written and spoken
  • Good team player, enthusiastic, innovative and proactive with good organizational & time management skills.
  • Self-motivator with the ability and confidence to work independently and to strict deadlines
  • Analytical approach/good problem solving skills and strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Knowledge of SAP / Oracle – advantage
  • Fluent English
