Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The incumbent will work with cutting edge technologies while streamlining AT&T business processes. Responsible for overseeing and maintaining MariaDB and Galera clusters for various applications that exist in highly-visible projects within the GDA organization in AT&T.
Roles and responsibilities:
The incumbent will work as an integral part of an agile team to develop and maintain web applications and scripting. Will be required to adhere to the principles of scrum (honesty, openness, and transparency) in all work. May be required to collaborate with other teams within the organization to deliver product documentation.
Prefer candidate with a comprehensive and demonstrable understanding of MySQL and MariaDB. Must have experience with database clustering. Familiarity with and experience in Linux and general LAMP stack arrangements. Comprehensive understanding of English with strong written communication skill required.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SQL database design, query analysis, performance optimization, reverse engineering. Can be a combination of Oracle and MySQL/MariaDB.
