Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

General scope of a Project manager in the Global Service Management access Centre of Excellence to enable Access Optimization and being the Interface across organizations and functions supporting access migrations, node closure and service access withdrawal projects. Acts as Point of Contact for Service Management to AT&T initiated projects ensuring efficient and effective communication flows between Service Management, account teams, the Project team and the customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Main responsibility is to gathering customer information and technical data, from Service and Sales organizations on behalf of customers, in a timely manner, to allow for successful customer access migrations within set timelines. The job requires to analyze, communicate and resolve issues in obtaining the Required Data Set. Regular preparation of reports detailing project status, and escalating issues is required to ensure prompt resolution.

Additional Information:
Contract: The job is a fixed term and expected to be required for at least 1 year as it is a replacement of a long term of absence team member.

Key Competencies and Skills:
Access Optimization (AO) requires excellent Project and task management skills, aligned with clear communication in English both written and verbal. This role provides excellent opportunities to develop relationship building skills, with close cross team / organization / functional a critical necessity. Working in the Access CoE means being an extension of the Service Manager, and the VOICE of the customer, ensuring NPS is not negatively impacted.

• Strong oral and written communications skills in English as well as preferably other European languages such as Spanish, Italian, German & French, with the ability to communicate at multiple levels of management, across different organizations & companies
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good Leadership, Project management & Problem Solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Good analytical and decision making skills with the ability to grasp complex situations easily and work in a fact-based manner
• Experienced at building and maintaining effective relationships with members of both AT&T and supplier organisations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education and Qualifications:
• General knowledge of telecommunications network services including Application Solutions and Mobility
• Project or Programme Management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access
• Ability to create and / or interpret performance charts & statistics
• Good understanding of the AT&T Business portfolio and technology.
