Senior FEM-Analysis Engineer f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Structural-mechanical and thermal FEM analyses of powertrain assemblies
• Fatigue strength, lifetime and damage analysis (HCF and LCF)
• Creation/Development of material models for fatigue strength assessment
• Development and optimization of methods
• Load spectrum analyses
• Definition, organization and management of R&D projects
• Presentation of technical reports to customers
• Providing support and assistance during the quotation phase

Your Profile:

• Mechanical engineering (or similar) graduate of a university of technology/university of applied sciences
• Minimum of five years experience in engine and powertrain development
• Expert in the use of FEM software tools (preferably ABAQUS)
• Experience in fatigue calculation software (preferably Femfat)
• Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Python)
• Familiarity with the development processes in the automotive industry considered an advantage
• Self-directed, systematic and structured approach to work
• Good communication skills, organizational and teamwork skills
• Very good command of English
• Enthusiasm for international cooperation

Annual Remuneration: Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration(full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 49.000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
