Development Engineer Software f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribution to software development at AVL for vehicle developers
• Specification of the elements of the system based on customer stories
• Role of Work Package Leader for implementation of specific issues
• Review of software and further development of test automation
• Development of parts of the overall system based mainly on C# and other technologies
• Verification and correction as well as performance optimization and interface design
• Expanding the fields of data mining and web access, as well as cloud and hosting solutions
• Compliance with AVL software development process
• Work in innovative teams using the latest agile software methods
• Prototyping on the basis of existing AVL software products

Your Profile:

• Secondary technical college / university of applied sciences / university of technology or bachelor degree in software development, electronics, mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 2 year professional experience in the software development
• Application knowledge an advantage
• Confident in conducting negotiations in English
• Additional languages an advantage
• Independent approach to work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High sense of responsibility and goal-orientation
• Self confidence and smart presentation

Annual Remuneration: Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration(full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 40.000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
