Project Manager for Function and Software Development f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Project management for functions and software development, including
• Development of innovative strategies, functions and software in the powertrain and/or tractor (Transmission Control
• Unit, Vehicle Control Unit, …)
• Planning and monitoring of quality, dates and deadlines, resources and costs
• Bringing about technical decisions
• Liaison to overall project management and the customer
• Project presentation – in-house and at third parties
• Implementing your ideas in a modern development environment
• Intensive use of simulation models
• Practical validation on test beds and in vehicles
• Developing and advancing software to volume production stage

Your Profile:

• Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or physics graduate of a university of technology
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in function and software development for automotive systems, preferably in the commercial vehicle powertrain field
• Experience and interest in project management of SW projects
• Experience in model-based software development using Matlab / Simulink or ASCET and automatic code generation
• Know-how of CAN bus / ISO bus architectures
• Knowledge of Vector CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe / dSpace TargetLink / MKS Integrety / AUTOSAR / ISO 26262 /
• SPICE desired
• Sound knowledge of development and quality assurance processes for powertrain software and its management
• Interested in international cooperation
• Good communication skills, organizational and teamwork skills
• Very good command of English

Annual Remuneration: Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration(full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 55.000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
