Vehicle Efficiency and CO2 Expert f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Project engineer in charge of boosting energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions at the overall vehicle level
• Technical CO2 analyses in the overall vehicle on road (tractive) resistance, aerodynamics, powertrain, chassis, air-conditioning and auxiliary units
• Effects of CO2 measures on other vehicle features such as driving performance, ride experience, driveability, braking performance
• Project support in the field of overall vehicle development in terms of optimizing CO2 levels and vehicle properties
• Supporting vehicle and component measurement (dynanometers, wind tunnel, tire test rigs, wheel bearing measurement)
• Analysis and interpretation of test results
• Technical coordination of CO2 measures in customer projects
• Coordination of interdisciplinary cooperation across departments in total vehicle projects

Your Profile:

• Mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronic engineering graduate of a university of technology/university of applied sciences
• Profound technical knowledge of overall vehicle development
• Profound technical knowledge of vehicle efficiency and CO2 legislation
• Experience in the development of measures to cut back consumption
• Ideally with experience in vehicle simulation
• Ideally with experience in driveability and driving dynamics
• Very good command of English and German
• Readiness to travel
• High degree of self-reliance and motivation, excellent teamwork skills and good communication skills

Annual Remuneration: Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration(full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 48.000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
