Job description, responsibilities and duties

Design and implementation of the core platform services allowing to deploy our components in a distributed cloud deployment. These include but are not limited to:

- messaging middleware
- task and job processing container
- task and job scheduling service
- workflow management service
- lifecycle management service
- central directory service
- operations tooling
- Functional/technical requirements gathering and functional/technical analysis
- Cross-team communication and coordination
I- nvolvement in all stages of development lifecycle (architecture, coding, QA, delivery, operations)

Personality requirements and skills

- MSc. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Professional experience in related development areas
- Desire to learn new things
- Desire to own mission critical central systems
- Keen interest for Erlang/OTP programming
- Interest and passion for middleware and messaging technologies
- Ability to read and write code in other languages (a subset of Perl, Python, Puppet, Java, JavaScript)
- Ability to talk to people and be part of a team
- Fluent written and spoken English
