Experienced Mainframe z/OS Network Engineers needed for recently relocated and expanded European data center activities. This is an excellent opportunity to put to use your technical skills in analysis and troubleshooting, while gaining great experience during a major system migration. Your skill set:
A solid understanding of z/OS networking services, structure and related software; The ability to design, customize and implement Vtam SNA and TCP/IP networks; Mastering Telnet, SMTP, FTP, NFS and communication protocols; experience in Switches and Router configuration and protocols; OSA configuration (Express, ICC, QDIO,etc.) with OSASF and HMC.
The Role:
This position involves providing technical support to clients in a 24/7 environment as well as actively participating in the sharing of ideas regarding potential system issues, concerns and recommended improvements.
