Accountant/General Ledger

One of the most fast-growing and developing American pharmaceutical companies is looking for an Accountant to join their financial team in Prague. The Prague office will be experiencing dynamic growth over the next 18 months.

Requirements:

As the successful candidates you will hold a degree in Finance & Accounting, will have 3+ years of experience in Accounting, good knowledge of the international standards (IFRS, US GAAP), complex accounting, excellent analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices.

Main responsibilities will include:

• following up on invoices from suppliers/customers/internal customers to ensure payments (receivables and payables) according to internal policy
• preparing monthly closing activities
• preparing and supporting reconciliations between RAS / US GAAP / IFRS
• analyzing financial data form statements, ledgers, and accounts
• close cooperation with controlling and other departments
• handling accounting policy and procedure inquiries, ad hoc reporting and analysis requests, provide periodic customer/site training.
