Job description, responsibilities and duties
The aim of the role is to lead a state of the injection molding production facility in Slovakia. The Plant Manager (M/F) will report directly to the headquarters of the company located in Western Europe.
The responsibilities of the Plant Manager are as follows, but not limited to:
Responsible for the P&L of the production facility;
Maximising plant's operational efficiency, optimising resources and minimising waste;
Providing leadership and guidance to the management team and staff, motivating them to achieve maximum performance;
Overseeing the production processes
Supervising production planning and organising production schedule based on demand;
Guaranteeing that production equipment and machinery are properly maintained;
Ensuring on time delivery;
Leading local purchasing, logistic and finance teams;
Ensuring appropriate training for employees;
Assuring that product quality and process control are compliant to company standards;
Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles throughout the entire production;
Controlling actual vs standard costs;
Leading safety to achieve a zero harm working environment.

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in the field of engineering;
At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
At least 5 years of experience as production manager or plant manager;
Strong leadership skills;
Injection Molding Experience will be considered as advantage, but is not mandatory for the role;
Methodical and systematic attitude to work;
Fluent English language skills;
Knowledge of Slovak language is preferable but not mandatory, knowledge of additional CEE language will be considered as an advantage;
Exceptional communication skills.
