Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Accounts Payable Associate will be processing received invoices, based on country language, utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP) as well as custom developed tools.  Candidate will be responsible for learning business processes related to client specific needs and interfacing with vendors.  Candidate will also review invoices for accuracy and prepare for payment.  Additional clerical duties related to Accounts Payable will be expected, e.g. posting transactions within SAP.  Review of monthly statements and reconciliation between systems will also be tasked

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

The ideal candidate will:

• be able to communicate in French (B2) and English (B2).
• previous accounting/book keeping experience would be an advantage
• previous SAP and VAT coding experience is a plus
• be able to solve urgent matters and work under pressure
• be able to manage time and multiple tasks at once
• be flexible, especially in the period of month-end closing
• Excel and Microsoft Office skills are a plus
