SMTP Linux Admin in AT&T

This position is to provide operational support for backbone email messaging transport within AT&T. The suitable candidate will monitor, manage and maintain inbound and outbound email traffic for both external and internal mail relay servers. Part of the job is also managing a system for email filtering, mass mail control, enforcing infrastructure policy and addressing violations.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities will include operational support for:
o Corporate Enterprise Relay hosts for internal and external mail routing
o Corporate Email User Email Alias backend support and validation by Enterprise Relays
o Primary Enterprise GALSYNC processing
o Critical Path Messaging Services (CPMS) infrastructure
- DLIST – Customized distribution lists accessible for external customers.
- orgMail – Emailing tool allowing executives the ability to construct dynamic distribution lists for critical communications.
- Mass Mail Tool – Mass Emailing tool incorporating moderation
o DLP – digital leakage prevention program support with CSO
o Spoofed Email Program – Flagging of emails appearing to originate from AT&T but are originated by another entity
o Corporate Sendmail
o Anti-spam, Anti-virus, Content Control support with CSO for SEG (Corporate Edge Services)
