Vehicle Suspension and Chassis Expert f/m

Your Responsibilities:

  • Expert in passenger car chassis, steering, brake systems
  • Analysis of chassis concepts for the passenger car field
  • Technical support in the development of MKS-axle models and complete vehicle models and their optimization
  • Development of concept changes (e.g. due to vehicle hybridization)
  • Analysis and interpretation of measurement results of measurements on test beds and on the road
  • Definition of vehicle-dynamic requirements for the development and verification of electronic chassis control systems
  • Creation of specifications and tender specifications
  • Monitoring the applications, and application of passive and active chassis components, steering and brake
  • Coordination of interfaces across departments
  • Assistance in the set-up of chassis prototypes
  • Clarification of technical details with suppliers and customers
  • Project support in the field of overall vehicle development

Your Profile:

  • Mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or mechatronic engineering graduate of a university of technology/university of applied sciences
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Profound technical knowledge in the chassis field
  • Reliable command of skills for passenger cars at the limits of driving dynamics
  • Experience in the subjective assessment of driving dynamics and ride comfort would be ideal
  • Ideally with experience in vehicle simulation
  • Ideally with experience in multiple-body simulation (e.g. Adams)
  • Ideally with experience in driveability and driving dynamics
  • Ideally with experience in the development of electrical ECU
  • Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and application tools (Canape, Inca, etc.) is desirable
  • Very good command of English and German
  • Readiness to travel
  • High degree of self-reliance and motivation, excellent teamwork skills and good communication skills
Annual Remuneration: Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration(full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 48.000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
