Senior Development Engineer Transmission Controls f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Senior development engineer for passenger car transmission controls (AT, DTC, AMT, CVT, hybrid transmissions, etc.)
• Design innovative and efficient control concepts and algorithms for automated transmissions especially focusing on future technologies and hybrid – electrified powertrains
• Development of designed algorithms in model based development environment, from prototype to series production maturity
• Integration and testing of the development controls functionality in vehicle or in test bed
• Technical coordination and supervision of project team
• Support system engineering, in order to define the interfaces and functionalities of the target transmission in the powertrain (especially in the hybrid powertrains)

Your Profile:

• Master in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar background
• Over 4 years of experience in function development for automated transmissions
• Involved in a project which has finished the complete series development cycle
• In depth system knowledge of hybrid powertrains and transmissions
• In depth knowledge of modern development tools and of automotive controls development processes
• Very good teamwork skills
• Flexibility, team spirit, proactive attitude and good presentation skills
• Proficiency in English, willingness to learn German
• Passion for automotive engineering and for technical innovation
• Readiness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration(full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 49.000. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
