JOB DESCRIPTION:
In order to support the rapid growth of our partners' business units (Automotive Experience, Building Efficiency, Power Solutions, and Corporate), we are currently seeking for a Directory Services engineer in EMEA. We believe that this person will help us improve the quality of daily operation to optimize the customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the technical responsibility of the Global Directory Services Team Leader, runs operations of the
Directory Services infrastructure and supports problem solving for directories, applications and other
solutions owned by the Directory Services team, lead the problem management for recurrent or complex
issues.
- Provide accurate reporting of activities related to incidents and requests that are handled personally or by the team, including detailed follow-up of major outages and gap against pre-defined Service Level
Objectives.
- Manage "crisis situations" to a satisfactory conclusion and under stress.
- Contribute to the development of Directory Services automation processes for support of daily operations and the gathering of directory performance information.
- Support the definition of administrative processes and procedures and necessary documentation. Handle the process deployment, monitoring, maintenance and optimization.
- Manage the relationship with business and handle stakeholder communication; listen to business and bring feedback to directory service team discussion; attend business communication meetings to present
directory service operation and project material; provide operation training to partners in site and business unit in accordance to the global Directory Services standards.
- Follow all set procedures and policies pertaining to the Change Management system.
- Actively take part of Directory Services projects and initiatives.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant practical experience managing Directory Services, mainly MS Active
Directory, preferably in a large-scale organization (multi-domains).
- Excellent knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Operating Systems, as well as all Microsoft clients Operating Systems.
- Experience with virtualization, especially using VMWare products.
- Expertise with following network protocols: DNS, DHCP, RADIUS.
- Understanding of security concepts related to Public Key Infrastructures.
- Experience with implementation of backup/restore and disaster and recovery strategies.
- English as a working language
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with implementation and management of Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM/ADLDS).
- Understanding of identity life cycle solutions and experience with MIIS/ILM/FIM.
- Experience with following products from Quest: Intrust/Auditor, Reporter, Spotlight.
- Experience with following products from Computer Associates (CA): SiteMinder, Federated Services, and Identity Manager.
- Microsoft Certifications such as MCSE or MCTS (Active Directory) are appreciated.
- Scripting skills: vbscript and power shell
- Ability to be on-call during the weekend once or twice every 3 months.
