Job description, responsibilities and duties
Job duties:
- DBA 2nd/3rd level support, as well as customer/project consultancy
- Change management – implementation of change requests
- Incident and Problem management – escalation to relevant support teams
- Database Housekeeping & Maintenance
- Responsible for all Backup/Restore requests
- Database Performance monitoring & tuning
- Upgrades / Patching
- Provide reporting
- Performance and capacity management
- Participate in on-call schedules, DBA hotline, weekend and public holiday support when required
- Business travel may be required
