Market Development Specialist (m/f)
High Growth Markets, EMEA

with high affinity to Life Sciences and Separations/CE Business located in Germany, Poland, CZ, Hungary

The purpose of this role is to support the growth of the company by providing sustainable strategic and tactical leadership in the EMEA High Growth Market territory to deliver against plan. The job holder must have a comprehensive understanding of market and competitive dynamics in the HGM territory.

Main Position Objectives:

  • Support our key distributors and local sales team in the region by providing training and conducting pre-sales customer visits with end customers. Provide support as sparring partner in technical discussions on Capillary Electrophoresis
  • Discuss distributor contracts, including sales targets and commercial terms
  • Conduct regular meetings with dealers to build a relationship and drive our joined success by effective communication, motivational leadership, coaching and performance management of sales channels.
  • Build a sales and go to market strategy, including new market opportunities, launch of new products and review of our distributors
  • Maintain contact with key opinion leaders and other key customers. Ensure our sales partners develop knowledge of all products within the sphere of responsibility as well as soft sales skills
  • Work together with internal contacts in support, marketing and order fulfillment to meet planned targets
  • Perform business reviews and provide forecasting reports

Education & Skills:

  • Qualified graduation in scientific subject with strong knowledge in Life Sciences preferably Capillary Electrophoresis
  • Proven track record in working with distributors in HGMs
  • Strong analytical background and problem solving capabilities
  • Experience in continuous improvement through the implementation of relevant DBS tools
  • Ability to articulate a clear vision and convey a sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 60-70% across EMEA
