Senior Accountant for Slovakia - General Accounting

ABB a leader in power and automation technologies is looking for a suitable candidate for a position of Senior Accountant for Slovakia – General Accounting. This position is situated in Shared Accounting Services in Brno.

• GL accounts responsibility (preparation, manual booking), monthly/quarterly closings in accordance to US GAAP and also the local GAAP (Slovak statutory accounting)
• Maintenance of automized booking on selected GL accounts
• Tax accounting and tax declaration responsibility
• Fixed assets and payroll accounting
• Accounts reconcilliation on monthly basis
• Responsibility over respective SOX controls in the area of financial accounting and reporting
• Preparation and update of accounting documentation (instruction, manuals, etc.) in line with Accounting and Reporting Guildelines
• Cooperation with SAP team in the area of General Accounting/Reporting (mainly SK related requirements) – automation of processes and solutions
• Standardization of processes for Cluster (to the largest possible extent)
