Job description, responsibilities and duties

Business Continuity and Risk Senior Analyst is part of Security and Compliance team located in Prague, Czech Republic. Primary focus is assessment of risks and business impacts and ensuring that proper risk countermeasures are in place to protect clients by use of especially availability, business continuity management and IT disaster recovery (BCM/DR) practices.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Participate in projects delivering consultation on BCM/DR services and Security Risk services; cooperate on assessments, countermeasures design, building, testing and deployment of BC/DR Plan.  
  • Cooperate on design and implementation of internal BCM framework within our internal organization.
  • Work on on-going coordination of BCM activities within our internal organization.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Required skills:
  • Knowledge of information security principles, techniques and technologies, especially in business continuity assessments and BC/DR Plan testing.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Spoken and written English.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in multinational and virtual teams.
  • Willingness to learn and improve.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work at client site.
 
Nice to have skills:
  • BC/DR Plan development methods.  
  • Experience from IT security and/or business continuity management and/or  IT operations
  • Good knowledge of Security Governance, Security Architectures, Compliance and Operational Information Risk Management.
  • Experience with BCM, Risk Analysis and Management software tools.
  • Familiar with industry security standards, project management and ITIL.
  • Security and/or BCI / DRII certification.
  • Knowledge of either of the following languages -  German, Spanish or French
