Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing accounts receivable transactions mainly cash collections activities (direct and indirect), customer queries and dispute resolution activities, gathering and analyzing financial information, etc.
• Accountable for all Collections areas of responsibility / deliverables (inbound and outbound calls)
• Communicate with collection agency
• Communication with other admin departments in Accenture or on client site
• To ensure that results are in accordance with agreed metrics and the operating plan
• Initiate business process excellence improvements
• To assist the team members in resolving problems
• To coordinate with the Supervisors & Team Leaders to improve the procedure with the aim to deliver the higher quality service
• To ensure that quality product & service is provided to all customers both internal & external
• To identify, implement & manage process & facility improvements & modifications
• Other duties as stipulated by the superiors
• Seek advice and escalate issues when facing tasks/problems outside normal scope of job
