Accenture is expert in Infrastructure Outsourcing, collaborating seamless across our EALA IO Delivery Centers. EDC (European Delivery Center) is delivering the complete Lifecycle of Design, Build and Run for Infrastructure Services. We engage and position ourselves for growth in emerging Technologies and Cloud.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to work in this demanding environment. The successful candidate will form part of a core team accountable for the successful day to day management and maintenance of the WAN/LAN environment. Delivering and establishing projects related network implementation for multiple clients. Candidate should have professional behavior, working in client environment abroad along with travelling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per processes, affecting the global MPLS network and systems infrastructure
- Design, setup and configure and active network components/topologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues of WAN devices.
- Implement change requests as per business needs on routers and switches (and firewalls).
- Work with the vendor/product in delivery of data network service, hardware and software to agreed service levels.
- Supervising responsibilities including interviewing and training/coaching team members.
- Act as internal escalation source in case team members need assistance.
- Keep up to date with new products and services that are supported by GNOC
- Handling and Escalating highly impacting operational issues to upper Management and/or 3rd party vendor escalation
- Perform vendor interaction with internal and external support organizations
- Participate in team projects and project/technology transition
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems affecting the global network and systems infrastructure
- Identify and resolve chronic issues

Personality requirements and skills
- Fluent English and German language
- Experience in the troubleshooting and performance management of data infrastructure networks
- Customer service skills and client focus
- Familiar with service management processes
- Ability to read and write English with fluent conversational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including an ability to convey technical information using non-technical language
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco routers, Catalyst and IOS switches (9000 series, Nexus series, 65xx, 45xx, and 35xx series), Firewalls on ASA platform
- Knowledgeable in the following data circuit technologies – ATM, DSL, Frame Relay, Ethernet, ISDN, POS
- Good knowledge in enterprise-level networking with knowledge in TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (OSPF and BGPv4, etc.).
- Hands-on experience of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Etherchannel
- Knowledge of VPN technologies and IPSec and GRE protocols.
- Understanding of network protocols like FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP
- Exposure to VoIP and traditional voice technologies.
- Exposure to Multicast environment and knowledge of multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM)
- CCNP/CCDP/CCIP/CCIE Certification
- Exposure to Network Security protocols and platforms (Juniper)
