Job description, responsibilities and duties

Key Responsibilities

• Batch and charge invoices sent from local country
• Charge invoices collected by the Shared Service Team
• Follow up on outstanding/escalated approvals
• Monitor manual approvals - batch and distribute
• Regular reporting of open invoices by the end of month
• Process of approval and support purchase orders in system
• Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable invoices issues
• Ensure process of approvals and charge of accruals
• Ensure monthly generation of reports for accrual purposes
• Recharging based on clients needs
• Ensure monthly downloads of unapproved invoices are provided to assist in the accrual process

Personality requirements and skills

Qualification:

Education: Secondary School or University
Work Experience: Accounting experience is an advantage
English knowledge: Communicative level
Greek knowledge: Advanced level

Turkish or Russian knowledge: Big plus
 
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Able to quickly absorb new information regarding clients/projects/processes and tools
• Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work well with all levels of management, staff, other team members, outside clients and vendors
• Advanced multi-tasking skills
• Ability to independently solve problems and make recommendations
• Excellent follow-up skills
