Job description, responsibilities and duties


A Contract Management Professional joins Contract Management Service Centre and works together with local or international project team(s) and /or business unit(s), or with other Contract Managers to ensure delivery to the contracts and subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and client requirements.
 
Responsibilities:
 
* Contract compliance, contract interpretation, set up and maintenance of contract management processes
* Maintain a high degree of Contract Awareness among the engagement team (e.g. via awareness presentations, contract guides, risk memos, etc.)
* Work with the engagement team and/or another Contract Managers to establish the contract management procedures, tools and methodologies to implement the contract in accordance with its terms
* Be actively involved in the contract change request process
* Tracking of the contract correspondence
* Managing subcontract/third-party agreements
* Ensuring protection of intellectual property (e.g. marking, tracking monitoring of IP)
* Identification and escalation of non-compliance activity and performance issues
* Documentation/records management
* Contract close-out
* Interface with other Legal professionals in various countries to provide seamless service
* Perform procurement-related legal tasks as required

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

 
* Experience in law or contract management area (ideal is combination of legal background/contract/project management)
* Experience with contracting law
* University degree in law
* Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Ability to interact with all management levels, including upper-level client staff
* Excellent organizational, presentation and analytical skills
* Ability to set priorities
* Fluent English and Turkish (knowledge of legal Turkish) or Nordic language
* Fluent knowledge of one more language is an advantage
