Job description, responsibilities and duties

Responsible primarily for activities that follow the process of securing cash payments after a customer is billed to support DBO and DRO reduction. It spans the process from the time the invoice is issued or the equipment is installed to the time the payment is applied to the order. This process includes researching payments, assisting the customer with invoicing questions, and managing/resolving disputes.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed individual targets set, taking accountability to notify to Team in advance, any circumstances that may impact target achievement.
  • Effective collection of overdue debts in line with the Credit Policy, Quality Call Document, Key Processes and Work Instructions
  • Actively and positively participate in working as part of a team to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Work to achieve individual objectives as set and documented, ensure that performance against these is discussed and reviewed with Supervisor.
  • Effective monitoring of Customer payment patterns to ensure prompt action is taken if non-payment or continued late payment occurs.
  • Positively support Supervisor and Manager.
  • Comments entering into the current collections system and ERP system including, what is the problem, what action is agreed, who is the action owner, by when, follow up date
  • Provide high levels of Customer Service to internal and external Customers.
  • Identify Customer accounts that need to be contacted to achieve cash and aged debt targets.
  • Work according to department Processes.
  • Support Cash and Debt critical activities as requested.
  • Prevention of LOAR and Write-off
  • Undertake any other duties as required, that support achievement of team or department targets.
  • Completion of assigned tasks/reports within agreed deadlines and quality
  • Co-operation on additional critical tasks for the unit (e.g. audit, internal audit etc.) according the decision of the Line Supervisor
  • Develops appropriate client relationship
  • Develops a good relation within the team and share experience
  • Takes responsibility for own professional development and growth in line with agreed Performance review and CDP

  • fluency in French and English is a must (C1 level)
