Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Global Platform Applications Reporting Analyst is a quantitative thinker with proven experience developing crisp, actionable analytical solutions to complex business or functional problems He/she will work on the Accenture Insights Platform Team, which provides data visualization solutions to both internal Accenture Operations professionals and to our external customers. They will collaborate across a diverse group of customers, subject matter experts, technical developers & business analysts design, develop implement, & deliver applications, using Data Visualization tools such as Qlikview as their underlying technology. This role will also play a key role in supporting our existing set of analytics tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration with a team of subject matter experts, technical developers & business analysts to develop functional requirements for development
  • Responsibility for the development of analytics solutions to support internal and external customers
  • Responsibility to architect, plan and drive data integration needs
  • Design & drive usage of statistical methods in analytic content
  • Support the existing application set by diligently attending to questions and concerns raised by end users, including providing individual support and escalation of incidents as needed

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • 3 years working in a role with Business Intelligence and Reporting duties
  • Proven ability to solve complex business problems using Data Visualization tools such as Qlikview
  • Experience and comfort working and collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, improve, and think critically about existing business processes to identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience & comfort in manipulating data and providing detailed analytical analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong working knowledge of sourcing, category management and procurement operations would be nice plus
