The Position:
We are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Sourcing & Category Manager with expertise in a wide range of Facilities categories to work with blue-chip clients to develop and execute sourcing strategies that support each company’s business goals while achieving optimal pricing, quality and service levels. Located in Prague, you will:
 
  • Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in Facilities Services spending across a wide array of leading companies
  • Lead sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution
  • Design and implement cost savings projects across multiple Facilities sub-categories, including: Real Estate Services, Catering, Cleaning, Security, Repair and Maintenance, Mechanical and Electrical Services, Office Supplies, and Building Refurbishment and Fit-out.
  • Establish, engage and manage client relationships (both functional and procurement) to drive strategic initiatives; support account stakeholder relationship plans
  • Actively monitor and communicate category insights, trends and conduct market research for designated clients
  • Mentor more junior members in the sourcing team on stakeholder and project management, with a special emphasis on collaboration, customer focus, delivery excellence, continuous improvement, negotiations and contracting
  • Represent Facilities Sourcing & Category Management team as a category expert in at least one of those sub-categories above for the current and prospective customers

Qualifications The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Required:
  • A degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics) from a top tier university
  • Experience 5+ years supply chain, procurement, sourcing
  • Experience in sourcing and category management of Property and Facilities services
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Advanced written and verbal English and German language skills
Preferred:
  • Ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts within Property and Facilities Management categories
  • Post-graduate degree preferred
  • Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design and coordinate implementation of cost savings projects across multiple PFM sub-categories including: Facilities Services: Repair and Maintenance, M&E, HVAC, Janitorial & Landscaping, Security, Catering, Building Fabric Maintenance; Project Management: Refurbishment and Fit-outs, Move Management; Corporate Real Estate: Rents, Lease Administration and Brokerage Services, Furniture, Workplace Management; Office Services: Stationary, Mail, Courier services, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Formal training and/or 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint)
