SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Sourcing Senior Analyst will work as a key member of the Procurement Team within Accenture's IT/Telecoms Practice. This position will be responsible for sourcing hardware, software, professional services and telecoms for a range of clients with a focus on effective bidding of contracts and overall risk management. The Sourcing Specialist should be well versed in the procurement of services/products in multiple areas of IT procurement and excel at providing this service for clients.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: RFP development, market assessment, risk management, strategy development, contract negotiation, contract management, and product management. The Sourcing Execution Senior Analyst will also communicate with suppliers to gather timely, accurate, and complete IT market intelligence and maintain required client reporting tools for procurement team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Manage a number of sourcing projects across multiple customers in Europe across IT Professional Services, Hardware, Software, and Telecoms sub-categories
  • Design and implement cost savings projects in agreement with client stakeholders
  • Develop RFx documentation sets to enable supplier proposals and evaluations
  • Drive commercial contracting with down-selected suppliers
  • Engage with customers’ senior management team members to communicate progress and ensure continued alignment
  • Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements
  • Maintain accurate and timely project records and progress in Accenture’s Radix Procurement Management system

Personality requirements and skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in either business administration/international business management disciplines or Information Technology / technical discipline
  • 1-2 years sourcing / procurement experience in IT and/or Telecoms sub-categories
  • Fluent English and German both written and spoken
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end sourcing projects
  • Strong work ethic, high motivation and the ability to challenge the status-quo
  • Significant proven competency in contracting/negotiation processes and best practices
  • Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Process oriented with excellent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills
  • Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our clients
  • Knowledge of procurement operations
