Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job summary:

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Senior Agile Program and Project Manager is responsible for large, complex RPA implementation projects or programs. Those projects and programs can be aligned to a large client mobilization, portfolio of technology investment initiatives or other special programs.
Following Accenture methodologies and industry best practices, this role will be accountable for delivering the desired outcomes and value of a project/program.  These goals will be achieved leveraging our global network, working together and openly sharing ideas, knowledge and resources
 Key Responsibilities: 
• May manage individual projects or coordinate a team of project managers
 • Understands and manages client and program stakeholders’ expectations and business objectives
 • Establishes agile teams and ensures their availability throughout the project
 • Establishes and launches the Agile governance structure and processes including all applicable agile roles
 • Trains project teams and stakeholders in Agile principles
 • Ensures project and program adherence to Agile methodology including:
 • Managing key artifacts like Product Backlog, Burndown chart etc.
 • Strong and on-going client involvement
 • Continuous integration

 •  Plans and manages iterations and releases
 • Runs regular team meetings and ensures any blockers or issues are resolved
 • Ensures open, productive, motivating atmosphere within the project team
 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
• In depth understanding or Agile principles
• Strong leadership project management skills
   • Ability to lead a geographically-distributed virtual team with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities
   • Strong problem and conflict solving
  • Presentation skills with ability to communicate at executive level
   • Fluency in English
 
Nice to Have Skills/Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Professional or Professional Scrum Master II qualification is highly desired
 • PMP certification and familiarity with waterfall project model would be an additional advantage
  • Hands on technology implementation experience as project manager or business analyst / architect.
 • Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation concepts and platforms
 • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Green Belt/TQM)

Experiences
 • 7+ years of experience managing programs, projects, and teams
 • 3+ years of experience with leading Agile projects
 • Experience working with off-shore teams
 • Experience at working with client and account leads to analyze issues and risks and work through approach and strategy to resolve or mitigate.
 • Experience within Business Process Outsourcing/Shared Service Center and supporting technology teams (e.g. delivery factories, sales teams etc.)
 • Experience with RPA or other Automation would be an advantage
Travel Requirement/ Shift Hours
 Travel requirements may vary from project to project and type of assignment.  For example, some client and other travel may be required (approximately 30-60% average through the year with a degree of unpredictability) for client technology mobilizations.  Internal programs or management of an investment initiative portfolio may require 10-20% travel
