Job description, responsibilities and duties
An international team is seeking a French and Spanish (both languages are required) speaking person who would like to start or deepen his/her experience in the warranty validation field and automotive industry by taking up the role of Warranty Claims Validator with French & Spanish.
The primary role of Warranty Claims Validator is to assess warranty claims (accept/reject warranty repairs). Additionally, the clerk processes monthly invoices from service providers and responds to queries from those as well as from country managers.
Key responsibilities and activities can be summed up in the following points:
1) Warranty claim validation based on checking invoices (proof of purchase) and warranty policies
2) Clarification with repair service providers in case of discrepancy
3) Repair service providers invoice checking (i.e. comparison with payment proposal)
4) Create pro-forma invoices/payment proposals
5) Communicate results of validation

- Experience in Warranty is an advantage
- Experience with suppliers and strategic sourcing is an advantage
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery is a definite plus
- Good team player
- Strong displayed problem solving and analytical skills
- Self-Motivated, positive attitude and approach
- Flexibility to take on additional responsibility and tasks
