Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Team lead with Dutch to manage a small to mid-sized team and to manage procurement operations according to defined processes. The work location for this position is Prague, Czech Republic.
 Operational Responsibilities:
 - Responsibility for day-to-day management of buying goods via eRequisition tools, phone or e-mail
- Responsibility for management of Supplier Enablement activities
- Escalate queries and issues in line with defined procedures, provide input to Accenture leadership meetings, engage in client discussions to resolve issues
- Regular attendance on internal & external calls by acting as knowledge holder and objective management of client expectations

People Management Responsibilities:
-  Build and lead the team as a high performing team, drive service delivery through maximizing team and individual performance (responsibility for balancing resource requirements in the teams and focusing teams based on workload cycles).
 
- Lead and motivate team through agreeing clear roles and responsibilities, setting achievable goals aligned to the above objectives. Review team and individual performance against these objectives on a regular basis.
 
- Identify and implement training and development plans for the team and individuals to ensure the achievement of the above objectives.
 
-  Ensure team is fully conversant with Suppliers
 
-  Provide subordinate staff with regular feedback on the contribution they are making to the business

- Supplier Network or Procurement experience

 - Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
- Able to drive performance and improvement across the Global Sourcing team
- Active attendance during client visits
Experience:
 - At least 3-4 years’ experience in procurement
- Experience in leading a middle-sized team 
