Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main responsibilities of the PTP analyst are:
 
 
  • Coordinate Accounts Payable activities (invoice process, payment process)
  • Coordinate process of booking and approvals for incoming invoice within agreed SLAs
  • Follow up on outstanding or escalated approvals
  • Regular reporting of open invoices
  • Provide support to client finance department for statutory adjustments according to requirement
  • Perform Duplicate Check
  • Reconcile Vendor Statements
  • ERP and workflow integrity PTP - Reconcile invoices in DFM
  • Ensure monthly downloads of unapproved invoices are provided to assist in the accrual process including other reports necessary for this activity
  • Process Wire Payments, Cheques, direct debits
  • Process and coordinate Urgent payments
  • Review AP and Cleanse Ledger
  • Query management - Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable issues
  • Monthly and Quarter closing activities including balance checks, follow-ups on open items
  • Create and Update Current Standard Work Instructions on regular basis

Your background: 
 
  • University degree
  • Work Experience of a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
You knowledge and skills:
 
  • Able to quickly absorb new information
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook applications
  • Knowledge of DFM, JDE is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work well with all levels of management, staff, other team members, outside clients and vendors
  •  Able to multi-task
  •  Ability to independently solve problems and make recommendations
  • Diligent and pursue queries  - excellent follow up skills
