Job Specification
The Supplier Manager will function as a member of various project teams within Sourcing Operations. The Supplier Manager will independently manage supplier interactions. The Supplier Manager will coordinate with Project Managers, Data Managers and Category Managers when required.

The Supplier Manager will function as a member of various project teams within Sourcing Operations. The Supplier Manager will independently manage supplier interactions. The Supplier Manager will coordinate with Project Managers, Data Managers and Category Managers when required.
Responsibilities
- Quickly builds rapport and credibility with external parties such as customers and suppliers at
all levels - Acts as a manager of the supplier relationship throughout a project lifespan
- Proactively communicating project information to suppliers
- Confirming supplier understanding and participation in projects
- Training suppliers on auctions
- Performing Event Day Execution to coordinate all operational activities and
communications during the auction - Proactively communicates weekly supply base status to customers
- Researches and develops knowledge in a certain industry or commodity
- Perform supplier research and identification with support of the team
- Facilitates and/or performs quality checks for team members
- Appropriately identifies and escalates supplier issues within and across teams
- Effectively coordinates Regional Supplier Management resources around the globe
