Job description, responsibilities and duties

This role involves managing the collections process for the EMEA market by liaising with both client  and Accenture resources to expedite payment and resolve any issues
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Call clients following a well defined process to ensure invoices received, approved and negotiate payment date in accordance with payment terms.
  • Work with other parts of the CCMS (OTC) Process
  • Document calls and all communication in Collection Tool with updates,  and follow through to next steps as appropriate.
  • Escalate disputes to Client team, understand and implement resolution as appropriate.
  • Resolve bottlenecks preventing payment eg:client does not have copy invoice, no P.O. quoted.
  • Negotiate promise to pay dates and escalate if agreement cannot be reached.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with both client and Accenture client team, to expedite payments and improve cash flows.
  • Report on key reasons for non payment and recommend remedial action. Consistently reach collection target, reduce Days Billing Outstanding and ensure  overdues are kept to a minimum.

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Fluent in German (B2 - C1), communicative in English (B2)
  • Experience in a high value, high volume credit control environment is a plus
  • Other roles involving extensive Customer Contact will also be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills will enable this person to communicate well with external and internal clients and customers at a variety of levels within the organisation.

  • Good communication and negotiating skills are critical in this role.
  • Self motivation is key to ensuring the ongoing success of this function.
  • A high level of organisational skills are required to ensure accurate records of contacts and reporting.
  • The ability to work to a well defined process, dealing with exceptions as they occur.
  • Strong numerical skills.
