Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a Multi-Hotel Revenue Manager based in Bratislava.

The portfolio of hotels consists in:
• Ibis Bratislava Centrum, 120 rooms
• Mercure Bratislava Centrum, 175 rooms

You are responsible for implementing strategies to optimize revenue for your hotels. You are responsible for the roll-out of processes, training, methods and tools adapted and you ensure that all Revenue Management processes are in place in your hotels.

Main accountabilities

• Support the hotel Management to define the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future.

• Analyze the hotels’ results and performance. Survey the market and competitors in terms of performance, pricing and availability as a basis for future tactical decisions with the hotels’ GMs.

• Ensure an accurate and dynamic forecast for the future dates based on the RM referenced systems recommendations and a daily monitoring of the data (portfolio, booking pick-up, events, calendar events).

• Take daily decisions to optimize the hotel turnover. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management (RMLs open/close), group quotation, distribution channels... Ensure that his recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception, and that systems (PMS, TARS, RMS) are updated accordingly. Ensure business consistency within the market place and according to brand positioning.

• Ensure that a “RM culture” is spread in the hotel, through the animation of weekly yield meetings and regular coaching and training sessions for the hotel teams

Requirements

• Proficient Excel user (formulas, pivot tables...)
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Degree in Hotel Management school or general Business school
• Previous experience in Revenue Management
• Knowledge of the concepts and evaluation of market analysis processes
• A clear understanding of hotel industry is necessary as well as analytical capabilities, experience in study cases, market research and studies with mathematical background

Desirable

• Experience in hotel operations
• Knowledge of a RMS (Amadeus RMS or other)
• Knowledge of TARS Database
• Knowledge of Opera PMS
