Lifeguards / pool attendants in Malta

POOL ATTENDANTS
- To assist the Park Manager in providing an effective and efficient service.
- Assist in undertaking the day to day duties of the swimming pool complex in a safe manner.
- To supervise swimmers in the pool areas and on the water slides.
- To take appropriate action to prevent any accidents from occurring in the pools and on slides.
- To provide a first class and high standard of customer care at all times.
- To ensure a clean and safe environment at the park at all times.
- To work in accordance with the site shift rotation schedule, as directed by the Park Manager.
- To provide day-to-day maintenance (such as cleaning and locker) as and when required by Park Management and/or Senior Management.
- To maintain all storage areas in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
- On direction of the Park Manager, provide demonstration of duties to the public, students, trainees or existing staff.
- To contribute to the health and safety processes of the Park.
- To report all defects in building and equipment to the Park Management.
- Other tasks at the request of management.

LIFEGUARDS
- must have a licence and certificates

LIFEGUARD WITH A LICENCE
- salary 5,00 - 5,50 EUR gross per hour
- 40 working hours per week / 5 days a week
- overtimes paid extra (5,00 eur per hour)
- food with 50% discount during the shift

POOL ATTENDANTS
- salary 4,50 EUR gross per hour
- 40 working hours per week / 5 days a week
- overtimes paid extra (4,50 eur per hour)
- food with 50% discount during the shift
