Business Development Manager

The Czech branch of Allpacka.com was launched in November 2015 with the intention of being the Czech Republic’s leading parcel delivery price comparison website. The team at Allpacka Logistics s.r.o. are currently looking for a top performing Business Development Manager to lead the growth of their new online business in the Czech market. The position will be based in Prague.

Primary responsibilities:
• Establish a market position by locating and developing prospects and making them our clients
• Negotiating and closing agreements with business partners
Primary duties:
• Customer acquisition - calling potential customers and setting up meetings to pitch our services
• Identify and attend business events, representing the company and prospecting for customers
• Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
• Identify market trends, including opportunities and threats in the Czech market
• Closing new business deals, developing and negotiating contracts
• Maintain first class relationships with key customer accounts
• Maintain first class relationships with local suppliers
• Grow the business locally in the Czech Republic in line with targets set out by head office
• Update job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

Information about the selection process

The candidate will be the face of our company in the Czech Republic
He/She should be working in a co-working place in Prague, but the focus should be on meeting/dealing with clients

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization

Sales / Logistics

Language skills

Czech - Proficiency (C2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

Minimum 1 year experience in sales
Experience in logistics is a preference

Skills and qualifications:
• Native Czech speaker
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• A Self starter
• Able to close deals
• Skilled in prospecting for customers (selling to customer needs, territory management)
• Experienced in working with a Sales Plan and understanding how to hit targets
• Has market knowledge
• Can build presentations that reflect the prospects to whom s/he is pitching; and can present with confidence
• Comes across as, decisive, empathetic and clear
• Able to manage and keep to a tight schedule
• Able to work remotely with back office team located abroad
• Can communicate clearly and precisely and is a good listener

Preferred but not essential:
• Access to own car
