Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Coordinating the quality approach at the site to improve quality, meet customer needs and increase their satisfaction
- Responsible for control, adapt and improve the Quality Management System in compliance with what is required by standards
- Providing leadership in the quality department
- Performing necessary summaries and inform the production services and the plant manager
- Ensuring the implementation of corrective measures
- Inspection finished products according to the control plans in effect
- Leading and adapts the different control plans based on any potential results, dangers or risks
- Overseeing quality responsibility at the production site
- Ensuring that the processes necessary for the Quality Management System have been implemented and maintained
- Reporting on the functioning of the Quality Management System
- Preparing for and leading the management review and quality committee meetings
- Promoting awareness of customer requirements throughout the establishment
- Establishing the necessary status reports and improvement plans
- Drawing attention to discrepancies between actual performance and sets goals
- Participation in ongoing improvement
- Scheduling internal audits and have them conducted
- Keeping the documentation system up to date
- Adapts the Quality Management System to the demands of ISO
- Defining and participates in required training actions
- Responsible for improvements and cost saving activities
- Failure of some technological section and necessity to minimize shut-down or take intermediate planning or specific decisions, crisis management
- Budgeting
- Reporting, explanation of deviations in quality, KPIs recording, summaries, follow-up of corrective and preventive action plans
- Monitoring and improving of production via internal audits proposal implementation

Personality requirements and skills

Professional profile:
- University education - technical degree with a focus on production quality
- Approximately 5 years of professional experience at Quality Manager position in production
- Experience in production site, preferably in an international company
- Knowledge of quality management system, possibly environmental management system according to ISO 9001, ISO / TS 16949, ISO 14 001, 5S and other continuous improvement systems
- Active knowledge of English language
- PC skills (MS Office, SAP)
