Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Tier 1.5 Network Technician is a 1st level supporting role for incidents on customer networks worldwide, interfacing with IBM user helpdesks and higher level AT&T teams.
Tier 1.5 Network Technician is responsible for:
• Real time monitoring of customer networks in 365x24x7 environment
• Triage - Initial handling of incidents (based on e.g. AOTS tickets)
• Escalating incidents to appropriate AT&T resolver centers
• Handling PTT (WAN provider) related issues.
• Acceptance of 365x24x7 shift model and ad hoc shift changes
Tier 1.5 Network Technician is responsible for:
