Job description, responsibilities and duties

On this position you will provide database administration in support of SQL database environment within AT&T, who is recognized as one of the leading worldwide providers of IP-based communications services to businesses. We are the largest communication holding company in the world by revenue and we serve millions of enterprises and multinational business corporations on six continents.

Candidate will provide database administration in support of Oracle database environment.

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft SQL Server administration - Expert
Windows server administration - Expert

Personality requirements and skills

- Previous experience with SQL database administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with the application of database backup/recovery architectures and procedures
- Familiar with database monitoring and tuning tools such as System Center Operations Manager
- Experience with administering BI services - SSRS, SSAS mainly (no development experience required)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- English on good communicative level
- Motivated, independent, pro-actively digging into technical issues, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- 1-3 years of experience with SQL database administration
- Experience with the application of database backup/recovery architectures and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot environment issues - Windows Server, FailoverCluster, SQL Server services
- Motivated technical troubleshooter - independently digging into technical issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good PowerShell scripting knowledge

- MCSA: SQL2012/2014 or MCSE:DataPlatform is an advantage
- Team player with good communication and documentation skills
- Good English
