Location: Brno, Czech republic

The Unix Specialist with VoIP is responsible for providing 24x7 network operations fault management support for AT&T’s VoIP Networks.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Remote system monitoring
- Troubleshooting complex and potentially service impacting issues
- Maintenance of UNIX servers, VoIP and SoftSwitch applications
- Assisting technical teams in maintenance, testing and deployments on production elements
- Working with internal and external technical teams to resolve customer issues

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting UNIX servers and applications
- Understanding and working knowledge of LAN and WAN - routing, switching, data flow
- Experience with ticketing systems

Experience with TDM Networks, 4ESS switching, SS7 T1’s, DACS will be considered as advantage.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience desired.

UNIX certification desired
