Storage/EBR Planning and Engineering - Brno

Position Summary:
Technical Architect in Storage and EBR will become a creative and highly productive architect who designs storage solutions using fiber channel SAN appliances. He will able to work independently to solve complex problems as well as be able to lead cross functional groups to meet common goals and objectives. This assignment will involve designing complex storage solutions across multiple data centers using several different Storage solutions including EMC, Hitachi (HDS and SUN), and HP.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Understanding the fiber channel protocol down to the frame level
• Designing large enterprise multi tier SAN storage solutions utilizing multiple SAN fabrics
• Participating in all phases of Storage design
• Architecting clustering and cache mirroring solutions
• Understanding and providing solutions for capacity/performance challenges with storage subsystems
• Gathering requirements and clarifying with clients what storage additions are needed
• Investigate the best solution storage additions and creating ADEPT design
• Creating SRTS for storage needs and coordinating with SA and storage operations to implement design
• Reporting and Analysis
• Planning
• Non Project Administration
