Job description, responsibilities and duties

The HR Country Operations team are the first local Point-of-Contact for international based employees on all operational items ranging from formal work related documents, benefit plan administration, HR policy administration support as well as Tier 2 employee support. The HR Country Operations team is focused on meeting our established SLAs, providing consistent responses and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction and making every interaction a “great interaction”. The HR Country Operations team is on a continuous journey to rethink our tools – simplify and automate HR processes for both the team as well as our employees in order to be more streamlined and efficient. The team works hard to make HR effortless and exceed the expectations of those we interact with on a daily basis.

Operating within a matrix organisation the successful candidate will need to develop effective working relationships with HR Geography Partners, HR Business Partners and the wider HR team.


Roles and Responsibilities:


Key activities are:

• Member of the International HR Service Delivery team
• Manager of the HR Country Operations (HR COPs) Team in EMEA
• Embracing and establishing direction with regards to the IHR SD 2.0 model
• Support IHR centralization efforts including change management transformation
• Promote and support corporate Workforce 2020 initiatives
• Providing supervisory support and operational guidance to the HR COPs Team members in EMEA
• Providing support to the wider HR Country Operations and IHR Service Delivery Team
• Guiding and supporting broader regional or cross-regional projects
• Raise awareness of HR country specific issues for EMEA
• Representing HR COPs EMEA in internal as well as external meetings
• Point of Contact for escalations on EMEA HR COPs topics



Key Competencies and Required Skills:

Experience and Personal Skills:


• Fluent in English - both spoken and business written
• Preferably 5 years experience gained within a HR function
• General knowledge of labour law for all of EMEA; above average knowledge of Slovak labour law
• Previous supervisory experience in managing large, multi-location teams
• Capability in the management of large scale projects
• Detail-oriented but at the same time capable of differentiating essential versus non-essential details
• Proactive in solving problems and seeking solutions
• Highly effective communication and managerial skills
• Change orientated and able to manage conflict resolution at a certain complexity
• Stress resistant, able to work with strict deadlines
• Self motivated and proactive in extending their professional HR knowledge
