Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Supports all aspects of network architecture, design, engineering, and detail network specifications in order to migrate client from current network environment to the new environment.
• Makes recommendations for improvement based on client requirements.
• Monitors the performance of the overall network and its elements, responds to and fixes troubles, and performs preventative and routine maintenance activities.
• Develops plans and/or designs Network requirements and standards. Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into functional specifications and Vendor selection
• Performs activities necessary to support the installation and/or removal of network equipment. Verifies databases and ensures the quality and correctness of equipment installations.
• Develop wired/Wi-Fi network designs for AT&T Wi-Fi customer solutions.
• Candidate will define standards for network designs and implement networked systems.
• Developing configuration, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as switches, wireless LAN controllers, and Wi-Fi access points.

• Typically requires 2-3 yrs.

• Works on problems requiring judgment and in depth evaluation of multiple factors.

• Collaborates with others in own team or across teams.
