For our Technical Sales team in our Graphics&Reflectives business we are hiring an experienced Technical Specialist South Eastern Europe (SEE) - Graphics. This is a very challenging role in a very fast growing business and within a high performing sales team.

You will be mainly based at our plant in Prague, Czech Republic with travel amount of 70+% in South Eastern European region, and directly report to our Area Sales Manager Eastern Europe and Russia

What we can offer you! - Your Role:

As Technical Specialist South Eastern Europe (SEE) - Graphics you will provide technical support and advice to our customers in Czech Republic and South Eastern Europe regarding applications, conversion and installations. As well you realize and manage all technical aspects of our major product launches into the specific markets and, thus, provide appropriate technical advice to customers / end users to support our business development and support our sales force by educating them on technical issues.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Work in collaboration with our sales team to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers – being the main company technical contact for our customer technical departments.
  • Develop relationships with and provide pro-active support to your target end users.
  • Business development work aiming to selected accounts in order to specify and qualify our materials.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and quickly resolve issues encountered by our customers – printing, adhesives, conversion, application, installation etc..
  • Advise our customers on the choice and performance of adhesive films and full laminates.
  • Input your technical expertise and advice to allocated European wide projects.
  • Support our marketing team in the development of new products and the maintenance of the product portfolio.
  • Manage all technical aspects of major product launches including recommendation of quality improvements in collaboration with our Product Management.
  • Advise on major complaints in collaboration with our Central Customer Care team and recommending potential corrective actions on major and/or repetitive complaints.
  • Educate our end user and converters - promote and sell products to customers and end users where appropriate.
  • Continuously scan market opportunities and competitor initiatives.
  • Champion customer needs by communicating the voice of the customer throughout the organization, promoting change that will increase customer satisfaction.
  • Training by presentations to internal sales people and selected customer personnel on new products, applications and technical developments.
  • Organizing application workshops at distributor sites, step-by-step training followed by certification process.
Position Requirements:
What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:
  • Previous work experience of 5+ years in a technical support, research and development or technical sales position within an international is essential.
  • Experience in B2B / “business to business” market in printing and/or packaging technology, ideally in South Eastern European markets is more than welcome including some solid knowledge of graphics films, wrapping techniques (VisCom materials) as well as sound knowledge about Lean Management / Six Sigma tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, and Czech/Slovak both spoken and written; additional Eastern European languages such as Serbian, or Russian are a plus.
  • University degree with technical background combined with solid knowledge of finance, logistics and production processes is preferred.
  • Strong interest and drive to identify/create and meet customer needs plus cultural empathy and team-player attitude to operate in complex multinational organization.
  • Perform well under pressure and be able to manage a number of key tasks simultaneously.
  • High degree of accuracy, good time-management and priority setting skills are important.
  • Energetic, proactive and enthusiastic work approach to develop business in difficult conditions of culturally divers markets is welcome.
  • Computer skills and experience in work in the ERP systems environment.
  • Valid driving licence is mandatory.
