Lead Engineer PEM Fuel Cell f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Technical responsibility for all PEM systems related activities of AVL
• Technical supervision and management of multi-discipline project teams
• Role of chief engineer in PEM customer and R&D projects
• Strategic build-up of a PEM technology competence team
• Project reporting and project presentations for in-house and external use
• Business development support and planning of projects with customers
• Definition of strategic research targets and R&D project planning
• Organization and technical management of R&D projects
• Innovation management, technical support in patent issues
• Ensuring compliance with AVL standards and processes

Your Profile:

• Mechanical engineering graduate (of a university of applied sciences, secondary technical college, university of technology) or similar qualification; ideally with a special focus on automotive engineering & alternative powertrain systems
• Profound knowledge of PEM technology, system design & operation
• Good understanding of fuel cell vehicle architectures including the core components hydrogen storage, battery, e-drive and power electronics
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the PEM fuel cell industry, ideally within the automotive sector
• Experienced in CAx methods and tools for simulation and design verification
• Creativity and analytical approach to work
• Communication, coordination and organizational skills
• Good spoken and written command of German and English
• Willingness to travel

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 60,000.00 . We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
