Job description, responsibilities and duties

MAIN MISSION:

To act as the single point of contact to the Human Resources teams in Europe and Middle East & Africa in relation to Compensation issues & policies. This position is an INTERNAL ADVISOR to the HR team in Europe and Middle East & Africa (approx. 50 countries), as well as the Regional contact point to roll out the main compensation cycles & processes.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Advise the HR Services teams in both Regions on compensation related issues, regarding the implementation of global policies in the Region.
• Ensure that global policies are deployed in a way which is consistent with the global frameworks.
• Partner with the Regional HR Senior Management to express the specific needs of the regions in the compensation field, and work with the Global Compensation team to address these needs, for example:

- ownership of local market benchmarking, in relation with the Global Compensation team
- deployment of global compensation (bonus, salary review) plans and related changes

• Participation in regular Global Compensation team meetings.
• Coach the HR management and HR consultants in the countries to increase their comfort around compensation dynamics, and communication on the matter.
• Introduction and training of HR consultants into compensation related matters, processes and tools.
• Planning and organization of salary surveys.
• Preparation of Compensation reports for the Group.
• Management of regulated and local driven salary increase cycles to budget.
• Advise the Regional Management, HR teams, as well as the global team, on legal constraints surrounding compensation in the Region.
• According to needs: control salary reporting in the HR Information System for the Regions, and support in audits where appropirate.

Additional information:

This job role does not include travelling as a standard matter of job description.
Hiring process includes 2 phases (3 regional leaders related to global reward executive roles).

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Experience in the main fields of compensation (job grading, salary benchmarking, variable compensation management).
• Previous multicountry experience in compensation, preferably in a mutinational matrix organization (SK/CZ/AT/..).
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
• Used to work remotely.
• Strong self-starter, motivator and team player.
