Job description, responsibilities and duties
This position is responsible for leading Enterprise Architecture (EA) key initiatives and activities to support EA capabilities for their assigned region. In addition, they will support and enable application and technology requests made to Enterprise Architecture Review Board and Governance Council for disposition.
• Collaborate and work closely with requestors and various Enterprise Architects across business units and regions to conduct fitness rating as per established Enterprise Architecture processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Enterprise Architects across business units to drive various EA initiatives for an assigned region.
• Provide feedback for improvements in current enterprise architecture environment, help detect critical deficiencies and redundancies and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Serve as an active member of the Enterprise Architecture team. Support Enterprise Architecture Governance functions and executes the relevant architectural processes for an assigned region.
• Reviews and provides feedback on feasibility studies of application and technology requests submitted to Enterprise Architecture Governance Council and share the findings with Enterprise Architecture Review Board in advance for an assigned region.
• For an assigned region, drive the enterprise application and technology evaluation process and evaluate the requests received.

• TOGAF 9 Certification
• Ten to 15 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as enterprise architecture, technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations) in a multitier environment — or 15+ years of combined experience in IT applications related discipline and business analysis or business strategic planning.
• Previous experience as an enterprise architect in a large global organization preferred.
• Familiarity with basic information management practices.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture.
• Knowledge of all components of holistic application architecture on various platforms.
