What you can expect
Our growing VAT Compliance team is looking for several accountants to compute VAT declarations and prepare relevant VAT returns as well as Intrastat with the help of general ledger accounts, tax reports and similar.

• Compliance tasks will also include timely and accurate filings to minimize VAT Risks as well as monitoring and development of risks controls.
• You will support in VAT audits and requests received from fiscal authorities.
• In this interface function, you will maintain regular dialogue not only with the VAT experts, but also with the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Invoicing and local tax managers.
• You will work with SAP R/3 system and contribute with our own ideas to improve the technical and procedural solutions as well as workflows.

What we expect

• You hold a degree in business and economics or a comparable vocational training and already gained VAT compliance or financial accounting experience, preferably on international level.
• Besides your excellent MS Office skills and your good understanding of business processes, practical experience with SAP R/3 will be beneficial.
• Within our intercultural teams you are known for your strong communication skills in both German and English.
• On a personal level, you are a results-driven, deadline-oriented person with high attention to detail, who welcomes responsibility.
