Job description, responsibilities and duties

What you can expect

Leading the alignment, design and implementation of Berner’s pricing execution function: pricing models, pricing standards and conditions, pricing tools, pricing processes (e.g. setting, maintenance, increases) and methodology, pricing thresholds and approvals
Project responsibility for developing a European Berner price strategy in cooperation with Marketing and Sales Excellence
Harmonizing pricing processes and tools throughout the international Berner organization with an industry standard/blueprint
Providing a better set of pricing processes, structures, tools, reports and systems
Overall accountability for sharing and replicating best practices
Identifying and implementing opportunities for increasing efficiencies and effectiveness of processes, systems and tools for pricing

Requirements for the employee

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

What distinguishes you

Master’s degree in a relevant subject
Profound experience in a commercial environment in pricing or sales support
Experience in setting up pricing strategies, pricing execution/monitoring and the development and roll out of pricing tools
Knowledge and understanding of project management, excellent organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Achievement/results orientation, decisiveness, the ability to deliver results with energy and drive
Accountability and integrity, ability to take ownership of business issues and reliably 'walking the talk'
Communication skills across all hierarchy levels, strong interpersonal/team skills and empathy
Analytical and interpretative mindset, ability to quickly identify key causes and potential solutions
Dynamic, enthusiastic and energetic personality
Strong customer focus
Fluent in English, ideally also in other languages
Willingness to travel (3 to 4 days a week), and flexible approach to working conditions and hours
